The 2020 rotation and the arrival of the new Standard Year will, as always, be decisive in Hearthstone.
Three expansions will rotate out of Standard mode (Witchwood, Boomsday Project and Rastakhan's Rumble) and this should create a real revolution.
While they'll still be able for playing in Wild mode, a lot of Rogue cards from the previous expansions are going to leave the Standard mode, meaning that several different archetypes that are currently shaping the meta will be affected — or will even disappear.
Some of these cards weren't really used, but the disappearance from some others will definitely be noticed...
The Witchwood
Boomsday Project
Rastakhan's Rumble
The summary is quite simple: the current Rogue loses nothing important, except the Spirit of the Shark (and SN1P-SN4P / Zilliax in Neutrals). The Galakrond Rogue should continue to reign over the meta, why not the Highlander Rogue. All of this will depend more or less on the actual power of the Demon Hunter and his ability to kill the Rogue quickly.
The Odd Rogue and the Deathrattle Rogue will have had good times, but always in the abuse of mechanics and they will always end up being nervous. The Miracle Rogue will never be the same with Leeroy's departure from Standard, and the Nomi Rogue will no longer exist either.
