The new set will soon go live in Teamfight Tactics. A departure from the sci-fi themed Galaxies, Set 4: Fates will bring an all new pass to complete. Here's what you can obtain from the new TFT battle pass.

Teamfight Tactics: All About the TFT Set 4: Fates Battle Pass

The new Teamfight Tactics set update, Fates, will be deployed with Patch 10.19 after the TFT Galaxies World Championship.

Here's what you will find in the new battle pass on offer.

Star Shards

One of the big additions in this update is Star Shards. With these fragments, you will be able to level up your Little Legends.

How They Work

Star Shards will be available for purchase in the store, starting at 625 RP, or earned through the Fates+ Pass — you will obtain a total of 300 Shards from completing the pass.

How to Use Star Shards

After getting your hands on some Star Shards, head over to the loadout selection page (where you choose your Little Legend). Click on an eligible Legend, and "the poros that run the backend of the store will handle the rest".

Do note, however, that all upgrades are non-refundable.

For upgrades of Rare Little Legends (e.g. Pengu Featherknight) and Pass+ Legends from level two to level 3, 100 Star Shards will be required, Epic Little Legends require 125 Star Shards, while Legendary Little Legends require 150 Star Shards.

Be careful, however — some Little Legends cannot be evolved:

  • Victorious Little Legends
  • UFO, Jade Emperor and Star Guardian

Arenas

Three new arenas will arrive with the set: Festival, Kanmei and Akana. These arenas will now react to the how your game is going, based on your wins, losses, streaks, and three-star champion deaths.

These arenas will cost the same as previous arenas, 1,380 RP for a single arena, and 2,900 RP for a pack of three.

Little Legends

What would an update be without new Little Legends? Three new dragons will make an appearance with the new set.

All non-legendary variants of these Legends will be available for immediate purchase upon the launch of Fates — the rare version will cost 750 RP, and the Epic version 925 RP.

They will also be available in the form of eggs.

Ao Shin

Teamfight Tactics

Descended from the Storm Dragons, Ao Shin is a Storm Guardian, animated by both the sweetness of rain and the ferocity of lightning and thunder.

Choncc

Teamfight Tactics

Choncc is a young Legend who is always hungry and constantly sleepy. Although they are appreciated for their relaxed nature, Crocc can display terrifying power if provoked. They can also be induced to fight by baiting it with snacks.

Umbra

Teamfight Tactics

Umbra is a shadow dragon, who at first glance seems suspicious and reserved. However, as soon as a mortal has gained their trust, they become affectionate and devoted, conjuring shadows and flames in defense of their allies.

The Fates Pass

There's no revolution here, as the Pass will function in a similar manner to previous passes. One difference is that it will offer more missions at the start of the Set, and fewer towards the end.

You will earn XP as you go, and unlock eggs, emotes and an arena at the very end.

Pass+

If you upgrade to the Pass+ for 1,295 RP you'll unlock even more goodies along the way, including Star Shards and the following:

  • A new selection of booms to pulverize your enemies.
  • A Jade Emperor makeover for Sprite
  • A Fates-themed Fuwa
  • Two additional Fates arenas

  • You will receive Victorious Hauntling if you reach Gold or higher in one of the two ranked modes.
  • You will also receive the Triumphant Hauntling if you reach Gold rank or higher in both ranked modes.
  • Emotes will be awarded for Galaxies' second Ranked stage, and will be updated for future ranking rewards.
