Players will be able to immerse themselves in the history of the game, play various PvE modes, and unlock associated rewards from April 6 to 27.

The Archives Event returns to Overwatch between April 6-27

The Overwatch Archives event is back!

As usual, players will be able to unlock several skins linked to the history of certain characters, with the possibility of obtaining those from previous years if missed originally.

Prepare to experience the past while fighting for the future.

The 2021 Archives will bring back the old Insurrection, Retaliation and Storm Warning missions. It's also entirely possible that a new PvE story will be added to the event, but this has not yet been confirmed by Blizzard. Knowing that the studio hasn't planned any "real" news before Overwatch 2, it's probably best not to expect anything.

Nevertheless, new weekly challenges should be implemented for the next three weeks. Players will be able to acquire epic skins simply by winning games. Speaking of skins, brand new cosmetics will be arriving in game. While no visuals has been revealed just yet, they will be Legendary quality!
