Four days of Counter-Strike action in the IEM Summer Group Stage have cut through ten of the participating teams, leaving just six left standing for the Playoffs phase.
G2 Esports and OG emerged from the Group Stage strongest of all, both tearing through the upper brackets. In the Group A finals, G2 took out Team Vitality to secure a semi-finals spot in the Playoffs. Over in Group B, OG triumphed over Evil Geniuses to advance to the other semi-finals.
Both Evil Geniuses and Team Vitality have an extra hurdle to overcome in the Playoffs. Evil Geniuses faces off against Gambit Esports, who completed a lower bracket run in Group A to make it to the Playoffs Stage, while Team Vitality will meet Virtus.pro.
The IEM Summer Playoffs kick off on Friday, June 11th.
With his contract expiring soon and without notable results recently, coldzera won't be on FaZe's active roster anymore as he contemplates his future.
