Potterheads! The time to break the bank has finally arrived. All of your hard-earned savings since the announcement of Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts Legacy are going to be able to be spent as they should be since the Collector's Edition has just been revealed.
Hogwarts Legacy: new trailer and digital deluxe edition!
Before showing you the beautiful Collector, know that during the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2022, an unpublished trailer of Hogwarts Legacy was broadcast. The latter focuses on the dark story of Sebastian Pallow (Sallow in English) who wants to do everything to understand the legacy of Salazar Slytherin even if it means using Black Magic. By following this optional quest, it will then be possible to learn one of the unforgivable spells : Cruciatus.
The last seconds of the trailer were then devoted to the presentation of the Deluxe Digital edition of Hogwarts Legacy which, as a reminder, will be released on February 10, 2023. Here is what it contains:
- A Dark Magic pack for your in-game character with: a Thestral mount, a Dark Magic outfit (the robe, pants and mask that we see in the image below) and a Dark Mage Battle Arena (hard to know what it is)
- An Onyx Hippogriff Mount
- The Black Mage's hat (calot),
- Early access to the game 72 hours before everyone else (i.e. February 8, 2023)
Hogwarts Legacy Collector's Edition: content, price and pre-order
As promised by Warner Bros. Games, the Collector's Edition was unveiled this August 24 afternoon thanks to a full unboxing video. Here is what the Collector contains:
- A version of the PC, Xbox or PlayStation game (no Switch version available at this time),
- A steelbook for the game,
- A large figurine of a life-size Ancient Magic Wand levitating above a magic book,
- A collector's box containing all the physical objects,
- 72 hours of early access to the game (i.e. February 8),
- The in-game Black Mage hat (the same as the Deluxe),
- Kelpy's coat in-game (no visual yet).

The Onyx Hippogriff mount is only obtainable if you pre-order the game (collector's or deluxe version). Also good to know: all these items are exclusive and cannot be unlocked naturally in the game if you do not purchase the above versions.
- Pre-orders will open from August 25 at 5:00 p.m. in your usual stores and merchant sites,
- The price is not yet official but it seems that the Digital version costs around €79.99 and the Collector version €289 on PS4, PC and Xbox One, or €300 on PS5 and Xbox Series. We will update this article as soon as the official announcement is made.
