Several new champions, origins, and classes have just been revealed! They will be implemented in Teamfight Tactics alongside Set 2 — Rise of the Elements.

That's right! The four elements are going to be directly introduced into TFT's board — but how?

Well, that's quite easy: some hexes will now randomly be infused by the power of the four elements: Infernal, Ocean, Wind, and Mountain. The first elemental hex will appear at the end of the first Carousel phase, the second one during the 3-1 round.

Be cautious about these hexes: they will act as an item, and will thus occupy one of the item slots of your champion.

As detailed in scarra's video, each player will benefit from the same hexes to make things balanced. Hexes are also persistent until the end of the game.
