A new web event is available in Genshin Impact that asks players to prepare some tasty grilled fish treats for Xiangling and Shiki Taishou. Here's what you'll need to do.
The event takes place from November 1-7, and can be accessed through the following link. Note that you must be Adventure Rank 10 and above to take part.
Yummy! Barbecue Under the Stars
The purpose of this event is create grilled fish dishes. These will increase your friendship with Shiki Taishou, with rewards obtainable depending on how many Friendship Points you have.
- 20 Points: 10 Primogems
- 300 Points: 20 Primogems and 12 Mystic Enhancement Ore
- 600 Points: 30 Primogems and 6 Hero's Wit
- 800 Points: 60 Primogems and 30,000 Mora
Naturally with Genshin web events, you cannot complete it in a single day.
How to Complete the Barbecue Under the Stars Web Event
Travelers will obtain three types of materials, granted when completing tasks: fish, firewood, and a seasoning jar. You'll need to consume one each of these materials to create a dish.
The 'doneness', seasoning, and species of fish chosen will affect which grilled fish you obtain, with several available. The more you uncover, the more rewards you'll obtain.
How to Obtain Materials
Fish are added to your basket every six hours, but you can only have a maximum of four at any one time - meaning you'll need to keep logging in to use them.
Four pieces of Firewood are granted upon completing the daily mission.
Seasoning can be earned from completing actions in Genshin Impact itself, such as:
- Using 40 Original Resin daily
- Completing 2 Daily Commissions daily
- Using a total of 200 Original Resin during the event
- Spending a total of 50,000 Mora during the evenr
- Sharing the event once
How to Grill Fish
To create a dish, follow these instructions:
- Choose your fish species, firewood, and seasoning jar
- Selelct the level of doneness of the fish, such as half-cooked, perfectly cooked, and uncooked. You'll need to choose this for both sides individually.
- Select the level of seasoning of the fish, such as light, medium, and just right.
Voila, you'll have a tasty grilled fish dish!

When it comes to cooking the fish, we'll use a 1-5 scale, the lowest number denoting raw fish, the highest denoting burnt fish. 3 denotes perfectly cooked.
Be mindful of the different between overcooked and burnt, as they are similar colours - the burnt fish has holes in it.
