Genshin Impact: The Best Build for Itto

This guide shows you how best to build, equip, and play Itto, the latest character to be added to the Genshin Impact roster.

Itto is a new 5-star Geo character arriving in the second part of Genshin Impact Version 2.3.

A DPS, he's especially handy with charged attacks -- they're not amazing, but Itto's charged attacks aren't necessarily amazing, but when he gets going in stacking Superlative Superstrength, he becomes a bit of a monster.

These stacks are easy to build, with every second and fourth hit of his normal attack combo add a stack if they land. In addition, his Elemental Skill also adds a stack. Moreover, the young akaushi bull summoned by his Elemental Skill can also be used to taunt enemies, drawing their attention away from you and leaving you to deal damage.

Itto's Elemental Burst changes his weapon into his Oni King's Kanabou, changing all damage to Geo and granting attack speed and attack buffs that scale with DEF. While in this state, Itto benefits from Superlative Superstrength also stacking with his first and third normal combo hits.

His third passive grants a damage bonus based on DEF defense for his charged attacks. As you can imagine, he can be a tank that hits hard.

His first passive grants more wood, which is ideal for the Serenitea Pot, while his second increases Arataki Kesagiri's attack speed.
