Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released this Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to look at how to increase the friendship level of these characters in question. This will allow you to advance in the scenario since every 3 or 4 levels of friendship, you will obtain new quests with them but also unique rewards .
Take them exploring with you
The most cost-effective way to increase your characters' friendship is simply to take them with you when fishing, mining, or gardening, for example. When they reach level 2, it is then possible to assign them a profession:
- Excavation : it helps you dig up more objects by digging (clay, coins, earth, pebble etc.) or in the shiny holes,
- Extraction : in order to get more ores and gems by breaking rocks or mines with your pickaxe,
- Gardening : allows you to obtain more ingredients by harvesting your sprouts,
- Picking : same but with fruits and flowers,

Fishing : same with fish.
The higher a character's friendship level, the greater the x2 gain bonus .
So remember to take a character with you with the "take a ride" option in order to obtain additional resources but above all to increase his level of friendship for each action carried out (regardless of his job).
Serve their order at the Restaurant de Rémy
When you have unlocked Remy in the Kingdom of Ratatouille, you can repair the restaurant in the Village. This restaurant is crucial because it allows you to buy rare ingredients such as Shaved Ice or Peanuts but also cheese, milk, egg etc.
In addition to being able to cook on site, the Chez Rémy restaurant allows you to serve orders to customers (the characters). Each time you serve someone the dish they ordered, their friendship level increases greatly! The level increases even more if the recipe has 5 stars for example.
Go and have a look at the restaurant regularly because the customers change.
Offer them their favorite gifts but not only!
Every day, absolutely every character in the game will have a list of 3 favorite gifts that you can give them. Open your Collection menu to learn about favorite gifts in advance by hovering over each character head. This will allow you to write them down on a piece of paper and go on an expedition to collect everything.
It is essential to do this well with Ursula and Ariel because these two characters do not have a profession and cannot go on an expedition with you. The only way to increase their friendship level is therefore to offer them the 3 gifts of the day and to have a daily discussion with them.
Note that once the 3 gifts have been offered, you can always offer other gifts to the characters. This will give less friendship points of course but could allow you to pass a level if only a few millimeters are missing in the gauge. Gems and flowers generally give much more points than the rest of the resources.
