By taking Route 6, you will come across Team Yell observing a Silicobra.
Hop will join you to fight them.
After this fight, Opal, one of the Arena Champions, will give you her League Card.
Route 6
Trainers to battle:__
Pokémon:
- Helioptile
- Galarian Yamask
- Dugtrio
- Duskull
- Skorupi
- Magikarp (water point up the ladder)
- Maractus
Items:
- 3 Ultra Ball
- 2 Fossilized Dino (up the ladder to Diane's left)
- Light Clay (by descending the scale to the left of the Fossils)
- 2 Rare Bone (left of Nicola)
- TM30 Steel Wing (south of Ruth)
- Rare Candy (down the ladder below Ruth)
- TM15 Dig (right of the Camping)
Here you are in Stow-on-Side, the rocky city where an ancestral fresco is displayed.
Stow-on-Side
The man inside the Pokémon Center will give you 2 Fossilised Drake. To understand how Fossils work in Pokémon Sword and Shield, feel free to consult our dedicated guide.
(You have to go and see the Professor on Route 6, to the left of the Camping).
Notable NPCs and items:
- Two men are holding a market next to the Pokémon Center. The first one offers rare items as the "good deal of the day". The second one gives you money for items (once a day) that you can easily find in the Wild Area.
2 Sp. Atk on the left of the Bronzong
Still to the left of the Bronzong you can take a small path. It will lead you to a ladder that will lead you to the rooftops of the city. You will meet a man sitting on the roof offering to exchange his Hatenna for a Maractus. You will also find a Metal Coat and the TM74 Venoshock.
Dusk Stone, behind the Pokémon Center (passing to the right of the sign).
You will meet Hop who is still as bad as ever because of his defeat against Bede. To get better, he'll want to fight you.
You will get the Bea League card (or Allistair in the Shield version), the next champion you will have to fight.
Stow-on-Side Gym
See you at Stow-on-Side Stadium.
The Pokéball man will offer you a Heavy Ball.
Bea is the champion of the Fighting Type (Sword version). You will therefore need Pokémon of the Psychic, Fairy and Fly types.
Gym Mission
You need to climb into the kind of saucer and control it to reach the end of the path. Be careful, the saucer does not drive like a car. You have to turn your stick to the left or right.
Trainers to battle:__
For the second room, use the boxing gloves to bounce and turn to the right.
For the third room, you have to go to the very bottom left so that the boxing glove propels you, and go to the right.
Defeat Bea, Gym Champion
You get the Fighting Badge. You can now capture Pokémon up to level 40. You also get TM42 Revenge and the fighting uniform.
When you leave the arena, Sonia will remind you that she wants to go see the famous Stow-on-Side fresco. You will hear a huge noise coming from this very place. Don't forget to heal your Pokémon.
Continue your journey to the left of the gym, up the stairs leading to the fresco.
On the way, you can retrieve a Max Revive to the left of Sonia.
You'll come across Bede and a Copperajah trying to destroy the fresco! What is its objective? Collect as many Wishing Stars as possible to obtain the President's recognition.
He will obviously want to fight you.
Extremely disappointed with Bede's behaviour, Chairman Rose will want to sanction him by disqualifying him from the Gym Challenge.
All damaged, the fresco will be destroyed to give way to a superb statue of the 2 Heroes accompanied by 2 wolves. One carrying a sword in his mouth, and the other a shield.
The Two Heroes were accompanied by Pokémon all along.
Sonia, as usual, will give you two Revive. Your next stop is Ballonlea. This city is located on the far right of the Stow-on-Side stadium.
