In this guide we will reveal where the TM54 False Swipe is located and the list of Pokémon that can learn it

Pokemon Sword, Shield: How to get False Swipe & list of Pokemon which can learn it

The False Swipe TM is very practical because it inflicts damage without killing the opponent. If you have a Pokémon with a high level and you use False Swipe on a Wooloo at level 3 for example, you will immediately see its usefulness: the TM will leave only one HP for the Pokémon.

This attack is used to catch Pokémon more easily and fill your Pokédex. It's also used during shiny hunting to help capture. Be careful, however, with weather conditions that can cause unintentional damage to the Pokémon you are hunting (like sandstorm)!

Where to find the False Swipe TM?

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can get the False Swipe TM by going to the Motostoke western Pokémon Center, the one on the top floor, just before Route 3.

It costs 10,000 Pokédollars. But it's a vital TM and worth buying for Shiny Hunting lovers.

Go to the man on the right side of the counter and he'll sell you this TM.

If you have the DLC and are going legendary hunting in the Crown Tundra, Urshifu can also learn False Swipe (not sure about Kubfu).
