Hearthstone: Anti-duplication system extended to all card rarities

With the anti-duplication system, you couldn't get a second copy of a legendary card. Starting with the next expansion, this protection will be extended to all rarities, making it easier for you to get all the cards in an expansion!

Hearthstone: Anti-duplication system extended to all card rarities

March 17th is marking a milestone in the history of Hearthstone as all the new features announced will have a huge impact on the future of the game.

With the Year of the Phoenix and the next expansion, Ashes from Outland, a new class embodied by Illidan Stormrage is making his big entrance: the Demon Hunter!

However, that's not all: two new keywords — Dormant and Outcast — are appearing, as well as a new type of cards: Primes!

Among all that's been revealed, here's one news that will delight us all: the anti-duplication system, which already existed for the legendary cards, has been extended to all rarities — including common, rare and epic cards.

While you'll win less dust, you'll be able to focus only on certain key cards you'll miss, instead of having to disenchant many epic or rare cards you just didn't have a chance to draw. This new pack opening experience will allow you to complete your collection much faster and more efficiently, spending less money on it, making the game more accessible and interesting for everyone, including for free-to-play players!

Illidan Stormrage is the new Battlegrounds hero!

Straight from the Outland, Illidan Stormrage is making his debut in Battlegrounds! Everything you need to know about the Demon Hunter is in this dedicated article.
