Patch 11.2 for Teamfight Tactics drops on January 21, 2021, and as always a raft of changes will shake up the game's core.
This time round, twenty champions will be replaced by 20 new or reworked ones, with plenty of new traits to completely freshen up gameplay.
While Riot have been revealing champions each day through social media, the full set has apparently been leaked on Reddit already.
The new champions confirmed so far include:
- Darius (Fortune Slayer)
- Xayah (Elderwood Executioner Keeper)
- Rakan (Elderwood Keeper)
- Kayle (Divine Executioner)
- Nasus (Divine Syphoner)
- Sivir (Cultist Sharpshooter)
Champions confirmed to be leaving:
- Nami
- Hecarim
- Xin Zhao
- Jinx
- Ahri
- Jhin
Traits or origins also biting the bullet:
- Dusk
- Moonlight
- Tormented
- Shade
- Hunter
- Dazzler
While new trait/origin details are as follows:
- Dragonsoul sees the highest-health champion gain a blessing (i.e. buff and AoE proc on every fifth basic attack) that passes to another Dragonsoul ally upon death.
- Fabled has champion spells gain an additional effect.
- Daredevil, limited to Samira, has her acquire a new target with every other basic attack. Should they be out of range, she will dash towards them. With each attack, her Combo Rating increases.
- Slayer has champions gain Lifesteal,
- while Executioner grants champions' basic attacks automatic crits on targets below a certain percentage of health.
- Finally, Ornn gets the Blacksmith trait, which has him begin to craft an Artifact item after participating in combat. Once complete, you can give this item to an ally.
- Syphoners give a healing buff to all allies.
Finally, certain champions remain, but undergo trait or origin changes:
- Morgana remains Enchanted, but moves from being a Dazzler to a Syphoner.
- Kindred becomes a Spirit Executioner rather than a Hunter.
- Zed ditches the Assassin trait to become a Ninja Slayer.
No doubt that Riot will continue to reveal more about The Festival of Beasts in the coming days on social media, so stay tuned for the full official reveal.
In the meantime, this primer, taken from the Reddit leak, seemingly gives an overview of the patch changes.
