With Patch 5.5 making its way to Final Fantasy XIV next week, players will be able to face a new trial in Normal and Extreme modes: The Diamond Weapon. This fight will let Warriors of Light face the Empire's new weapon on the Cloud Deck, an arena in the sky.
This trial will drop a new Gwiber mount for a total of seven Gwibers in the game. Once players have gathered the seven dragons they'll be able to get an exclusive "fusion" mount, like the Kirin in A Realm Reborn for example.
In a recent visual reveal from Square Enix we learned that this mount will be the first "fusion" mount to have two seats.
