Riot Games has announced its new game mode for League of Legends: Teamfight Tactics, a strategy game similar to Dota 2 Auto Chess. In this one, forget the 5v5, and make room for a solo game mode. You will be facing seven opponents in multiple rounds with one goal: being the last on to stand.
Teamfight Tactics will be available in alpha version in Oceania from June 25, 2019, in Europe from June 26. It will then be released worldwide on June 27!
Various information
- The Shop allows you to buy champions
- Units can be upgraded to grade 3 by combining pieces together (three grade 1 units will combine to make one grade 2 unit, etc.)
- Each Round played will bring experience to your units as well as your Little Legend
- You can also buy experience
- Unlike Dota 2 Auto Chess, your Win streak and Lose streak will start from the 2nd win or defeat.
- Unlike Dota 2 Auto Chess, the center of the map will be what Scarra calls the "Carousel". After several rounds, the game teleports the players to the center of the map with available units and items. At first, all players are frozen. They are gradually released depending on their remaining life. The last player (with the lowest HP) will be the first one to be released. Conversely, the first player will be released last. This mechanic will allow the last player to pick the unit and the item of its choice before everyone. Meaning that the "Carousel" will actually help players who fell behind to comeback.
