Kaedehara Kazuha is a wandering samurai who’s also an Ameno character in Genshin Impact. He’s from Inazuma, one of the seven nations in Teyvat and the place that praises Baal. Baal is the God of Eternity (also known as “the Raiden Shogun”). She’s basically the Shogun of Inazuma Bakufu, the entity that governs the nation.
The first thing we learn about Keadehara Kazuha is that he used to have a friend. This friend wanted to know about a secret sword art called “The Musou no Hitotachi” (roughly translated as “The Edge of the Empty Thought”), which is only mastered by Baal. Anyone who goes against her is destined to face her “divine punishment” and experience the unique art. Kazuha’s friend wanted to see this power because he thought, apparently, that he could withstand it.
One day, Baal created the Vision Hunt Decree, an order asking for all the Visions (powerful gifts granted by the Gods in the form of glowing crystal orbs) available in Inazuma. Kazuha’s friend decided to challenge this order and he ended up facing the Raiden Shogun. Kazuha arrived at Tenshukaku at the exact moment to see his friend fail. However, he did experience “The Musou no Hitotachi” which was all he really wanted, so perhaps he died while achieving his dream.
After experiencing his dear one fall, Kazuha left the place, not before taking a Vision from Baal. This is why this character is declared a wanted criminal by the God of Eternity and the reason behind his endless wandering across lands.
We still don’t have much information about his clan, why he is supposed to be the last member of it and what happened to his family.
