The Game Awards: Horizon Forbidden West shows off new locales
0

A new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West unveiled at The Game Awards focuses on the game's different biomes, as well as Aloy's abilities and outfits.

Despite Guerrilla Games releasing bi-weekly updates on Horizon Forbidden West as we approach its February 18, 2022 release, a new trailer shown at The Game Awards still managed to drop a few new tidbits.

We got a Ratchet-style trailer showing off the many varied biomes in the game, from sandy beaches to snowy mountains. It appears to be a diverse adventure, especially when you factor in the host of new enemies shown. From giant serpents to pleiosaurs, Aloy is going to have her hands full.

While articles on the PlayStation Blog are great for communication, it's always better to see Aloy perform these new skills in video form. The trailer doesn't show much in terms of plot, especially as the live orchestra was front and centre at the event.
