Disney Dreamlight Valley is available from Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. After about ten days of playing, you probably noticed that some features were present but not unlocked yet. Here they are in detail. The good news is that everything below will likely be added in the coming weeks!
The Sunny Plateau in its entirety
Of course, if you use the glitch that allows you to move the teleport well , you can easily visit both parts of the Sunny Plateau. On the other hand, you will find very quickly that the bones are not yet breakable at the moment, even by completing all the character quests and upgrading your tools thoroughly. Once you have unlocked the Forgotten Lands, however, you can go through the small path at the bottom to access the second part of the Plateau.
On the other hand, the river and the pond present in this biome do not offer any fish to catch ! It's a shame since you will probably want to catch a Walleye for your recipes or to complete your collection. The only way to currently get it and get lucky is Moana's Fishing Boat.
No doubt the Sunny Plateau will be updated with the arrival of Scar (and other Lion King characters certainly) this fall! Still a little patience.
The Forgotten Lands Pumpkin House and the Green Light
This is another biome whose content is not fully playable at the moment. Even if you can open the passage to the Forgotten Lands, do some quests there, fish and mine, the green light that invades the area cannot be extinguished for now even if you fully upgrade your watering can with Merlin. In addition, the biome is home to a mysterious pumpkin-shaped house: who could possibly live here? A new villain like Maleficent perhaps? Will an update on Halloween be the opportunity to unlock a new scenario with this house?
The Crows
Also in the Forgotten Lands, another important feature is still not available: that of being able to tame crows . Moreover, they are not even visible. The game's Collection does tell us that these Critters live there, but they haven't been activated yet.
The pillars still misty
The pillars in the Frozen Heights, Sunny Plateau, Skull Island (Enchanted Beach) and Forgotten Lands cannot be cleared of their mist at this time. This will surely have a link with the future story quests of new characters which should soon arrive on the game if we refer to the roadmap and the trailers.
Some gems not found
If you have started to take a close interest in the decoration of your village, you will quickly realize that certain gems are necessary for the crafting of furniture. However, these stones are currently not found in biomes. They will probably be added in future updates, but at least we know what to expect:
- Ruby and Sapphire : you can get them through Mickey's "The Secret Door" quest,
- Alexandrite
- blue zircon
