Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. And if in about thirty hours it is possible to go around the character quests, it takes much longer to farm, decorate and carry out all the activities of the game. That said, many players are already waiting with firm feet for the next update!
The release date of the next update
On Twitter, Gameloft finally revealed the release date for the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update:
- The update will be available on Wednesday, October 19, 2022
-
The exact time has not yet been communicated.
We will therefore have to wait another short week before we can touch on new features such as the arrival of Scar at the Sunny Plateau or the possibility of petting his Critters as a companion. At the moment we do not know more about the content of the update but thanks to the data leaks it is possible to imagine what else we could have such as bait, fertilizer or even 6 other characters including those of the Lion King and the Fairy Godmother living in the pumpkin house.
Thanks to the official visual, here is what we can expect concretely:
- The arrival of Scar as a character: he will have a strong link with the Elephant Graveyard as in the cartoon,
- The possibility of taming the Ravens of the Forgotten Lands (we see them in the background),
- A new quest with Ursula (via Scar) and possibly the ability to unlock the Sunny Plateau pillar .
What to do while waiting?
If you have already completed all of the game's friendship quests, the main storyline, and even unlocked almost all of the items, all you have to do is wait for the update, hoping that this one does not last only 2 or 3 hours. In the meantime, you can either continue to replenish your coffers by collecting pumpkins galore to buy all the furniture in the Scrooge Shop, or try your hand at other "cozy game" type games such as Coral Island, which has just been launched. to get out.
Anyway, don't hesitate to keep a few copies of each material in the game aside so as not to struggle too much when other characters ask you for 200 clays, for example.
