As is often the case during the period following the Halloween festivities on Fortnite, Epic Games is offering players the opportunity to get their hands on free cosmetics. This year, Fortnite fans can notably unlock an exclusive skin: Chrome Pumpkin. A golden deal for free to play players, but to do this you will have to complete three somewhat special quests.
Today, we are going to look at the objective of Potiron Chrome which is to gain account levels (10, 25, then 50 levels) . Be careful though, this skin will only be obtainable until January 2023 !
How do I gain account levels?
Account Levels are different from Battle Pass levels, which reset to 0 at the start of each season.
Account Levels appear when you view your "Career" tab. If you are an avid gamer, this level can easily exceed rank 1000!
However, you should know that the account level is only the accumulation of all the season levels that you have accumulated since the creation of your account .
Clear ; you only need to earn battle pass levels through play to advance your Account Level progress. Note in passing that this accumulation will persist even after the next transition with season 5 of chapter 3.
Tier Tips
It is possible to gain experience (and therefore levels) via all official Fortnite game modes. Note also that the level of the Battle Pass can exceed 100 (so you can continue to farm account levels even after this threshold).
