Ready for another session of Monster Hunter Rise? Bring several explosives and enough rations to keep your stamina up. A good mastery of Wirebugs will also be required for this new expedition in the Flooded Forest.
Rewards
Collecting the ten Old Messages will only get you a few Kamura Points, and some furniture to decorate your room. If you're feeling up to it though, here's our guide!
Old message 1
- Right after leaving the camp, climb the cliff on your left, then go to the tent to find the first message.
Old message 2
- In the river that runs up area 4, spot a bunch of big roots hanging in the air, lean on one of the nearby walls to climb up to the branches. The first Old Message is on one of them.
Old Message 3
- Go to the top of the temple in area 3 until you can get inside. Once you're inside the room, search for a hole in the ceiling. Use the Wirebug to reach the secret area, then take the secret message inside it.
Old message 4
- Located in the mountains between areas 10 and 11, the message is buried under a pile of grass.
Old message 5
- At the west of area 10, search for a small hole in one of the walls, in the middle of several roots. The Old Message is nestled in the cave.
Old message 6
- This one is located to the southeast of area 12. Climb the cliffs until you find a cave hidden behind some roots. The Old Message is hidden in there.
Old message 7
- In area 11, located on a hill. Climb up above the sub-camp until you get on a ledge to drop down onto.
Old message 8
- Located in area 3. Climb back to the top of the temple on the west side until you find a door blocked by several piles of stones. Place a bomb to dig an entrance, then go inside to get the Old Message.
Old message 9
- Climb up just behind your main camp tent until you see the entrance to a cave. Go to the end of the cave, start sliding until you find a small cavity on your left. Sneak inside to get the Old Message.
Old message 10
- For this one, be sure to have several Wirebugs with you. Get to area 7 from area 11 and face the waterfall. You will have to cross some platforms and go to the north of the map. Climb up and it's towards the back of the cliff.
