Available since March 26th, Monster Hunter Rise has a modest lifespan compared to other episodes in the series. But how many hours will you have to invest in the game to finish it?

Monster Hunter Rise: How long is the game?

Monster Hunter Rise's maps are massive and offer a whole new dimension to the exploration and fights are more energetic and varied than ever. This MH hits hardly, that's undeniable. However, the game that could have been perfect lacks one parameter which is very important for veteran hunters: the lifespan. So, how long to beat the game?

Lifespan

According to "How Long to Beat" :

  • Story: Around 20 hours by completing the main story and some side quests. Up to +28 hours if you take your time.
  • Content: Around 56 hours by doing all extras. If you're a completionist, you're up for hundred of hours.
  • Bestiary: Monster Hunter Rise currently contains 44 large monsters.

On the day of its release, MH Rise didn't have content worthy of the series' standards: the end-game is cruelly lacking. The game is very quickly rushed, especially since the completion of all the main and side quests doesn't unlock anything. Once the final boss has fallen, you only have to go to the Rampage Quests, which should keep you busy for a few more hours thanks to the Apex monsters.
