Rewards

You can cut off the tail, break the head, and damage the wings and front legs of Valstrax. For the wings and front legs, Valstrax needs to be charged with energy.

Defeating Valstrax will allow him to appear in your other hunting games as well. Getting caught in a surprise ambush is a little less fun though. This will also unlock new quests with particularly high difficulty against combinations or even trios of formidable top monsters.

Scarlet Valstrax Weapons

The weapons of Valstrax are unique in many ways. Apart from their refined appearance, they have the particularity of having a cutting edge made up of only two colors: red and white. The improved versions of these weapons have a huge slice of white. They also have a lot of dragon damage. Their raw damage is a bit low though, so they can be interesting for some builds.

Scarlet Valstrax Armor Set

The Dragon Heart skill is original: if you have lost a certain amount of life, it applies Dragon Heart to your character, which will remove elemental damage from your non-dragon weapon, but also gives a huge damage reduction bonus of 50 from rank 2. At rank 5, the bonus activates at 80% life, and more importantly, it also gives +10% attack power (like rank 7 of War Machine).
