Samurai is a very popular damage dealer in Final Fantasy XIV. Hitting really hard and using a katana, the job is available from level 50.
To unlock Samurai players will first need to reach level 50 and possess the Stormblood expansion. Once level 50 the only requirement is to go in Ul’dah and talk to Ul’dahn Citizen located in the Steps of Nald (X: 9.2 Y: 9) and accept the quest called “The Way of the Samurai”.
The Samurai questline features 13 quests including the one that unlocks the quest. During these 13 quests only two of them will unlock new spells. The quest called “The Face of True Evil” after reaching level 60 will unlock Meditate and the quest called “The Battle on Bekko” available at level 70 will unlock the AOE spell called Hissatsu: Guren.
The last quest of the series is a yellow quest so you might miss it if you don’t pay attention.

These quest made available with Patch 5.0 of the game will be shared with any other Physical DPS, so you only need to clear them once.
