Stronghold Super Weapons

Each of the Red Stronghold maps has several defensive superweapons. Some have multiple Dragonators, some have the Splitting Wyvernshots, and there's one that has both.

You can tell if these weapons are ready by the lantern near their lever each time. If it's white, it's reloading. If it is green, you can shoot. Some weapons have several levers linked by the same reload time.

Dragonators

Don't be afraid to use Dragonators. Their recharge time is relatively short, and their area of effect is quite small. So don't miss your opportunity. When you see a group of monsters approaching, especially blue monsters that are going to attack doors, triggering the Dragonator immediately will save you a lot of time and door life.

On some maps with multiple Dragonators, it is possible to lure the top monster from one to the other to easily inflict immense damage and knock it down.

Splitting Wyvernshots

The big gun called Splitting Wyvernshots is much more powerful, but its recharge time is really long. Don't expect to use it more than twice in a mission. Its use will obviously depend on its position if it is on the first or the second map. If it's on the first map, don't hesitate to use it aggressively to clear a group of blue monsters near the door after having adjusted the aiming area. If it is available when the end boss arrives on the first map, hurry up and shoot it, as it will quickly move to the second map.

On the second map, if you have the Splitting Wyvernshots, save its use for when the boss charges its super attack on the door. When it is immobile and exposed, the damage inflicted will interrupt the attack.

The reload of this weapon can be accelerated by carrying fuel.

Counter Gongs

The Counter Gong near the door is sounded automatically to activate the retaliation signal at key moments of the fight, which will greatly increase the damage of the hunters. But it can also be activated manually once per horde.
