Hemp is a plant found in the wilds of New World which players can farm for the key resource Fibers.
A tall green plant with purple flowers, it is often found in clusters in forests and open fields.

What do you need Hemp & Fibers for in New World?
The base plant for Weaving, harvesting Hemp will give you a sizeable number of Fibers. These are used to create the key cloth at early levels, Linen. This is then used in a number of Armoring, Weaponsmithing, Engineering and Furnishing recipes.
In order to harvest Hemp plants, you'll need a Harvesting Sickle. There is no level requirement to farm it, and you'll be able to track Hemp nodes from Harvesting Skill Lv. 25.

The best locations to farm Hemp & Fibers in New World
Primarily found in the south of Aeternum in the lower-level areas, there are great clusters of Hemp in the following locations:
Around Primrose in Windsward
Head to Windsward Settlement, and leave via the west exit. There'll be a few nodes right outside town, but you'll want to keep heading west towards Harplass Homestead. Then, run a clockwise circle to Tres Campos, Fong Family Orchard, and Farside Township, sticking close to the river.
In the Balmy Veldt in Cutlass Keys
Fast Travel to the Marshview Shrine, just east of the Cutlass Keys Fort. To the south is the Balmy Veldt, where travelling a circle taking in the Proving Ground, Fort Ramos, Rusty Spoon Camp, and Cave of Tithing should net you a sizeable number of nodes.
Northern Restless Shore and southern Mourningdale
There's a fair few nodes in the north of Restless Shore, with the best thing being to fast travel to the Shrine of Sisyphos and then heading north-by-northeast. You'll find plenty of Hemp around the Accursed Camp and Fangsnap's Den.
There's also a few on the border with Mourningdale, just north of Boarsholm / east of Serpans.
Just outside Everfall Hamlet
If you're looking for a few quick nodes rather than a comprehensive farm, leave Everfall Hamlet by the southern exit. You should find a good number of plants on your way southwest towards the Olcott Family Farm -- use the Orion obelisk as a marker.
