Rivercress is a plant found in the wilds of New World which players can harvest for the following Water Reagents:
- Water Mote
- Rivercress Stem
- Rivercress Leaf
- Rivercress Flower
Tall with a light blue, watery glow, they are plentiful along the freshwater rivers of Aeternum.
Here's what you'll need and where the best areas are to find Rivercress in New World.
What do you need Rivercress for in New World?
Water Motes are used in a whole load of concoctions, including potions, coatings, and tinctures, and the cutting of Aquamarine gemstones. It is also a key resource in crafting the Elemental Heart, a mid-level reagent in ultimately creating Tuning Orbs and Voidbent Ingots. Given their elemental affinity, you'll also need them in the crafting of Ice Gauntlet weapons.
The various parts of the Rivercress plant are also used in Arcana concoctions.
In order to harvest Rivercress, you'll need a Harvesting Sickle. There's a level requirement of 30 to harvest them, and you'll be able to track Rivercress nodes from Harvesting Skill Lv. 45.
The best locations to farm Rivercress in New World
As mentioned, Rivercress is plentiful along the freshwater rivers of Aeternum. These are the clusters we think are best for power-farming.
Windsward
Quite simply, Windsward is teeming with Rivercress. You can start just across the border in First Light, from the Las Torres Lookout, and head north to the Clearwater Bend. Follow the river north, crossing the border at the Buccaneer Falls.
Keep following the river, and turn north at the Hermit's Shrine. Take the east branch just past Fisherman's Bend, then the north branch when the two rivers rejoin. At Octans, you can take either branch for even more nodes.
Vega Brige - Weaver's Fen
There's plenty nodes in Weaver's Fen, if you follow the Vega Bridge.
Salt Hollow - Everfall
The last great cluster for farming is at Salt Hollow in Everfall, specifically around the Riverworn Grotto.
With the Bearclaw Shrine just south, it's great if you need a few nodes quickly.
