Kicking off on October 21, the new Labyrinth Warriors event coming to Genshin Impact promises plenty of rewards, and even offers players the chance to add a character to their party.
The plot behind the event sees the Traveler help out Shiki Taishou, whose memories are fragmented and lost deep within the Mystic Onmyou Chamber. Head into this Domain and claim the rewards within!
As with most events, players must have reached Adventure Rank 30. They must also have completed the Archon Quest Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals.
Labyrinth Warriors: Gameplay Summary
A multi-floored domain, Labyrinth Warriors will see the Traveler and their party progress through multiple floors, completing something called the Decisive Emplacement. This is essentially a mini-boss fight, guarding the route to the next floor.
However, some rooms will be blocked off, making players complete other Emplacement challenges before progressing. These can summon enemies, heal or revive characters, or draw Charms - important buffs to your capabilities.
Labyrinth Warriors: Trial Preparation
Before you head into the Domain, you'll have the chance to set up two teams - one Combat, one Support. The Support team is essentially your substitute team, should things go a bit south. Characters cannot be included in both teams, so it's one or the other.
You can also equip up to three of something called a Shikifuda, which provide various buffs to the team.
Labyrinth Warriors: Entering the Trial
There are two floors in the domain, each with several different rooms. Your job is to find the room with the Decisive Emplacement and take on the challenge to progress.
However, you can explore all the other rooms at will, and they will have other Emplacement challenges. These are as follows:
- Charm Emplacement - Draw a Charm
- Arrayed Emplacement / Ferocious Emplacement - Triggers enemies
- Curative Emplacement - Heals and revives characters, allows for team configuring
Check the map for rooms marked with a Treasure Chest for cool rewards!
Defeating Emplacements that involve enemies means you can draw a Charm, which offers either a Character, Shikifuda, or Exploration buff to your team. Shikifuda is a kind of summon or assist. that can help turn the tide of battle.
An example could be a chance of not consuming your Shikifuda when successfully activated, or removing the fog on the current room to reveal the room types.
Labyrinth Warriors: Enhancing Charm Magic
Exploring the Domain and completing challenges rewards you with Damaged Replicas, which are then used to enhance Taishou's Charm Magic.
Labyrinth Warriors: Martial Trials
Like most events, there's a series of other challenges to complete that reward you with Primogems and other goodies.
These are standard tasks, such as defeating a certain number of enemies or drawing Charms.
Labyrinth Warriors: Event Shop
The usual rewards are up for grabs during this event, from Primogems and Mora to Crowns of Insight and Hero's Wit.
These are purchased from the Event Shop with Aged Tokens, the special event currency you'll get for completing the trial challenges.
If you collect enough Aged Tokens - 4,000 in total - you can even purchase Xinyan to add to your roster!
The event ends on November 8, at 03:59 server time, with the Event Shop remaining open for a further week afterwards.
