Disney Dreamlight Valley was released on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on the Forest of Courage biome.
Forest of Valor: unlock the rural biome
After exploring the Enchanted Beach and the Bayou of Confidence, unlocking the Forest of Courage is a logical next step, especially if you progress in Merlin's quests. You will find two passages to get there: one directly to the right of the Esplanade, towards the Restaurant Chez Rémy, another from the Enchanted Beach, towards the Grotte d'Ursula.

Tree stumps, ice pick and other peculiarities
The Bayou is a huge muddy swamp where you will find new resources to harvest but also a huge willow (tree) in the middle of the area. This is the house of Mother Gothel. In Early Access, the area can be fully explored and the Pillar can be disenchanted upon finding the Orb. Note that it is possible to upgrade the Shovel to remove tree stumps from the area. Regarding the ice spikes, it will be necessary to improve the Pickaxe.
If you want to cross the biome before upgrading the Shovel, you can still use the glitch that allows you to move the teleport well. Here are the notable places in the Forest of Courage:
- Anna and Kristoff's house (an ice castle),
- The Pillar (not far from the portal where you will have to save Donald),
- Elsa's ice cave,
- Goofy's Stand.

Difficulty : difficult to tame
In the same way as the crocodiles, you have to play 1,2,3 Sun with the Raccoon. Stay very far from him: as soon as you see him sit down, you can move forward. When he straightens up, stop dead. Repeat the process until you are close enough to feed it.

Forest of Valor: characters and quests
The moment you unlock the Forest of Courage, you can meet a new character: Kristoff. By completing the latter's quests, you can then save Donald and repair his house at the edge of the Beach. Anna and Elsa also live in this biome but you must unlock them through the Castle of Dreams: the last door available to go to the Frozen Kingdom.
The next Disney Dreamlight Valley update should be released in a few days and, in addition to fixing many bugs and adding content from The Lion King, a new feature should also be included!
