Want to know everything about the Esplanade on Disney Dreamlight Valley? Resources available, character to unlock, critters, fish... Here is everything interesting in the starting biome.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally released on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Early Access on all platforms. The opportunity for you to discover this magical world and restore it by finding lost Disney and Pixar characters. All means are good: whether it's exploring the open world by unlocking the passages of nocturnal thorns thanks to the Dreamlight, or going through the castle and its magic paintings. Today we are going to focus on the Esplanade biome.

Esplanade: the biome where it all begins

The Esplanade is not a biome that unlocks in exchange for Dreamlight since it is your very first spawn location. This is where you'll meet Merlin and start your first story quests to advance the storyline by clearing some nighttime thorns. Once the biome is tamed, you will see that it is very interesting especially for its Castle of Dreams where you can unlock realms (4 only for the moment) and its teleportation well (although you can teleport at any time by opening Your card).

House, restaurant and other features

If the Esplanade is not very big, it is still composed of the Castle of Dreams and very important buildings that you can move where you want later:

  • Scrooge's Store
  • Restaurant Chez Remy
  • Your house,
  • Mickey's house.

To break the gray rocks and the black rocks (on cliff) of the Esplanade, you must use your Pickaxe. To remove tree stumps, you will have to wait until you have upgraded your Shovel.
