Chi-yu being a unique Pokémon available in a single copy, your objective will be to capture it. For this, prepare yourself well by buying Hyper Balls. He dodges attacks a lot. Prioritize stun abilities. Also favor the Dark Ball since it's in a cave. Don't forget to teracrystallize, if only to resist attacks longer.
