For the moment, this guide is very incomplete, but has a good chance of becoming a very useful reference table. It must be said that the game will require you to combine many special skills on your characters in order to make them as effective as possible in combat. In the meantime, it can already offer you a glimpse of what awaits you. This article will be completed, and any errors eliminated as more information becomes available.
What are abilities?
Your characters will be able to have a maximum of 9 active skills at the same time. They are divided into three categories:
- Personal abilities: Each character has one, and only one from the beginning. It is irremovable and irreplaceable. Think of it as the appearance of each character (even if some, like the leaders of the 3 houses have the same one in practice). You should try to take this into account when choosing a class and role for your students.
- Class abilities: By unlocking a class and then mastering it, your characters will get different specialized innate skills. At the moment, it is not yet clear whether they disappear when changing classes, or whether some are kept for blending. But according to some sources, they are lost (however, you can freely change classes at will without penalties). You can have up to 3 class skills at the same time.
- Abilities learned from Mastering Class: All characters have a certain level of mastery in different fields (sword, bow, mount, flight, authority, etc.), and these levels increase by using the weapons and classes related to them, as well as by taking courses at the Academy and participating in activities. Progress in these skills (from E to E+, then D, D, D+, up to A, A+ or even S+) unlocks mastery skills that can be freely configured, this point is confirmed. You can have up to 5 of these skills at the same time.
