Your reunion with Mario will be short lived: after releasing him from Hellen Gravely on floor 15, Mario will ask you to follow him since he knows where Peach is being held. Not much to do here but to advance in the ultimate stairwell. Once at the top, King Boo arrives and sticks everyone in a painting, except Luigi. The final battle of Luigi's Mansion 3 can begin.
The concept of this boss is not complicated in itself: he will slap all his phases on you and once he does, the Boo will drop bombs including one not triggered yet that you will have to throw in his face. Once on the ground, take Gooigi out and stick out his tongue with the two heroes until the A appears and you're able to throw him from right to left.
Boo will create a clone at each new phase (he has 3, for 3 simultaneous clones). In addition, when there are 3 of them, a timer will be activated to make you understand that you won't be able to miss the bomb throw forever.
The biggest difficulty of the fight is going to identify who is the right Boo in the lot: look at them well, the one who turns clockwise is your boss. Below, a list of the different phases:
- Electric floor: Simply stand on the unlit tiles. In phase 3, 2 squares will be available per lightning wave so be sure to move as soon as the storm has passed.
- Throwing fireballs: Nothing particular to say, be careful not to touch them. With the 3 King Boo, some flames will tend to ricochet at the upper right corner of the arena.
- Tongue shots: He will try to flatten you with his tongue, stay constantly on the move. After a few hits, he will move from left to right or right to left by making a lasso: jump or move under according to your placement at that precise moment.
- Crushing: The Boo will take turns jumping at you, keep in mind that the real one will cause a shock wave when it hits the ground. Look at the shadows to anticipate where they will land.
Three bombs Boo's face later, it's time to end it: congratulations, you finished the story of Luigi's Mansion 3!
