Tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, 2020, there will be a 20-minute Pokémon Direct. New information will be shown and it's almost certain that Pokémon HOME will be launched.
But other games and apps can also be revealed. So here's a non-exhaustive list of what might be revealed tomorrow:
Detective Pikachu 2
Announced in 2019, a sequel for Nintendo 3DS is planned for Switch. Very little information has been revealed about it, but we may see a trailer tomorrow at the Live event.
Pokémon HOME
Pokémon HOME is a mobile Cloud application that allows you to store and transfer your creatures from one game to another. On Pokémon HOME, you'll be able to bring your monsters from Pokémon GO, Pokémon Bank (3DS), Let's GO Eevee and Pikachu, and Shield and Sword to your Shield and Sword versions.
In short, you'll be able to transfer almost anything to Shield and Sword, but not the other way around. However, only Pokémon from Galar's Dex are transferable. The system should launch tomorrow night worldwide.
Pokémon Sleep
This is a new mobile game that is linked to Pokémon GO and will allow you to play in your sleep. No more information at the moment, but we'll surely have some tomorrow!
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remake
It's the biggest wait of the moment. It all started a few years ago, when the Nintendo Switch came out. Apparently, the Diamond and Pearl versions are among the most eagerly awaited remakes of the franchise. However, no hints were left about a potential Gen 4 remake, and the developers had been talking about their desire to continue the Let's GO series of remakes. So we should rather expect a Let's GO Pikachu and Eevee 2 focused on the second generation with Ho-Oh and Lugia.
Pokémon Let's GO Ho-Oh and Lugia
It would be weird to start the adventure directly with the Legendary Pokémon of the game so this name is just impossible. But joking aside, as mentioned above, tomorrow's Pokémon Direct will most likely reveal a second game in the Let's GO series. This one would then be a second-generation remake of Johto.
Other possibilities
A new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon could be announced tomorrow, as well as a Pokken Tournament 2 (yeah...). Meanwhile, some fans are desperately hoping for a patch on Pokémon Sword and Shield to bring back forgotten creatures.
What are your theories about tomorrow's announcements? As a reminder, the live broadcast will only last 20 minutes.
