The May 18th edition of This Week in Call of Duty has revealed what is coming to Modern Warfare and Warzone this week.
Modern Warfare
New Maps
Two new maps will be making their way to Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare 3 map Hardhat will be arriving into the game alongside Aisle 9, a new Gunfight map.
New Playlists
- Hardhat 24/7 - Whether you have never played Hardhat or are a seasoned veteran, experience the classic map across a variety of game modes in the new Hardhat 24/7 playlist!
- Clean Up on Aisle 9 - This is a new 3v3 playlist across a variety of modes taking place on the new Aisle 9 map. Be prepared for some fast and furious action in this small team-based playlist.
New Bundle
A new bundle is set to arrive in the store. The Ghost Pack: Contingency bundle contains a classic Ghost Operator Skin along with a Legendary Assault Rifle blueprint. Check out what else is included below:
Warzone
New Playlists
- Blood Money Quads - Grab a fourth man and drop into Verdansk on the hunt for Cash. The team with the most money at the end of the game is the winner so keep the kill count high and stay frosty.
- Classic Battle Royale (Limited Time Mode) - This is a totally stripped back version of Warzone. There are no contracts, no Buy Stations and no trips to the Gulag. Survive 147 other players to be the last team standing.
More Gulag Weapons
There are new weapons to use when in the Gulag. The AK-47, M13, Kilo 141, RAM-7, Striker 45 and more can now be used in a 1v1 duel.
The Armour Box
The Armour Box is the newest item coming to Warzone. It works in a similar way to the Munitions Box. Place it onto the ground for you and your team to replenish their supply of armour. It can be found on the ground, inside Supply Crates and can be bought from a Buy Station.
Infinity Ward briefly announced the bugs that will be fixed in the next update for Modern Warfare and Warzone.
