Via a Twitter post, Infinity Ward has unveiled anti-racism measures within Modern Warfare and Warzone, adding a system where players can report any form of racism that they see within the game.
- Addition of resources to monitor and identify racist content
- Addition of an additional deferral system in the game to increase the number of bans per hour
- Added filters and increased restrictions on name / nickname changes
- Evaluate improvements to the game to facilitate reporting of racist and hateful content
- Increase permanent bans to eradicate repeat offenders
The introduction of the new system comes off the back of the #BlackLivesMatter movement taking place across the world.
