With the launch of Season 4, there are still no signs of any in-game event taking place in Verdansk but a Reddit user has managed to spot something moving under the ice at the top of the dam.
Theories as to what is going to take place have been running rife, with all signs pointing towards some form of nuclear missile launch, either overhauling the map or revealing the 2020 Call of Duty game.
In the video, there is a dark shadow that circles under the ice. Many are suggesting that it is a submarine and will tie into the reveal of COD 2020, rumoured to be set in the Cold War.
A more outlandish theory is that it could be some sort of sea monster waiting to unleash its fury but we think this may be a stretch too far...
Whatever is hiding under the ice, it is clearly going to play a role in the major event which will take place at some point in the future.
During the free access weekend for Modern Warfare, a menu has teased what's to come in Season 4.
