With two days to go until the final weekend of Call of Duty action for 2020. It has been revealed that the winning franchise will receive a throne, cementing their position as Call of Duty esports royalty.
Designed by Sheron Barber, the piece of furniture will include player names and statistics from the inaugural season of the Call of Duty League
Due to the tournament being played online and the absence of fans, the CDL is trying something different. The broadcast will be streamed from a virtual set "inside a bunker in Verdansk."
The set will feature the broadcast talent breaking down and previewing the three remaining matches of the season. It will also play host to a virtual trophy celebration once the winning team has been crowned.
