With still no effective anti-cheat software for Warzone, Activision is still tackling the issue by taking legal action against the websites providing players with the cheats.
Activision has previously launched the assaults on CXCheat to prevent gamers gaining access to cheats. As a result of this lawsuit, the company deleted all of the files in the IP address belonging to Activison Blizzard.
This time around, it's GatorCheats which has received a cease and desist letter from the publisher.The cheat provider had previously ignored a first letter, but as soon as the publisher of the Call of Duty license launched threats of legal action for the sale of cheating tools, they opted to delete all Warzone cheats from the website
The cheaters currently using the cheats from the website may still be present in Warzone, but the lack of anti-cheat isn't a promising sign when the release of Black Ops Cold War is right around the corner.
Activison has yet to issue an official statement announcing the legal action.
