Apex Legends is about to reveal its latest Collection Event: Aftermarket. As usual, it will be brought lots of cosmetics and new features to Respawn's battle royale. Whether it's a game mode, a new ultra-rare set of cosmetic items, or a prize track, players will have plenty to do during this event starting October 6.
New LTM — Flashpoint
This mode is based on Flash Points — massive zones dotted around towns in Kings Canyon. They regenerate your health and shields over time to get you healed and ready for combat in a flash.
Flashpoints are therefore crucial to helping you stay alive because healing items don't spawn in this game mode. However, you’ll be able to craft Phoenix Kits at Crafting Replicators.
Be careful as every other squad is going have the same idea and will rush to these zones. It will certainly create massive multi-squad fights, bringing the feeling of a deathmatch mode in Apex Legends.
Other significant information, the circle will never stops closing and it will always close on a Flash Point!
Event-limited Cosmetics
The event brings 24 themed, limited-time cosmetics. They all will be available through direct purchase (Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Event Apex Packs for the entire duration of the event.
Leaks were right since it's Caustic which is in the honor with the appearance of his own Heirloom. You'll have to be lucky to get it knowing that every 500 Apex Packs opened guarantees 150 Heirloom Shards that can then be used to unlock a specific heirloom set from the Heirloom Store.
Special Offer Bundles
Respawn is bringing even more deals to the special offer page with bundles. These offers include a mix of Event Cosmetics and Event Packs at a discount rate. You'll also be able to get an assortment of rare skins and charms for 500 Apex Coins.
Exclusive Event Prize Track
Like every event in the game, Aftermarket brings a prize track with all new exclusive cosmetics to earn. You can earn 1,000 points per day and challenges refresh daily. The challenges also stack with your battle pass, so you can complete both at once.
Finally, the event will be the occasion for the developers to introduce a long-awaited feature: the cross-play beta. Players will be able to party up and play together across all currently supported platforms.
Respawn hasn't communicated on the duration of this beta. The only thing we know is that the Aftermarket event ends on October 20.
