John Hight, Executive Producer for World of Warcraft, broke the news in a statement released on Twitter last night. In it, he said the team were still 'in the process of determining the right new date to launch,' and that they feel it was the right decision.
Another reason for the Shadowlands delay was given as the 'need to iterate on some interlocking pieces, particular those related to the endgame,' having listened to feedback from the community.
