Apex Legends is teasing the beginning of its next season. Players can now see a countdown that has appeared on gravity lifts in World’s Edge and Kings Canyon.
Gravity lifts are a teaser for season seven. These devices should be activated about a month before the beginning of the new season. This will give Respawn time to give us clues about what's coming for the battle royale.
According to dataminer Biast12, gravity lifts will require the players to complete three sets of challenges with objectives such as inflicting damage in mid-air or outliving opponents.
They could also be the opportunity to tease the next legend: Valk. Even though other leaks seem to say that Horizon will be the next character to join the game, some game files mention her.
Her kit has already been leaked a few weeks ago. The soaring aviator will have the ability to fire rockets while in the air, to hover or take to the skies after a short countdown.
These are leaks and not official information. Respawn could very well change everything before deploying these new features in-game.
Apex Legends has just released Aftermarket collection event, and the update was an occasion for Respawn to update some legends.
