Today's 5.4 Live Letter revealed more of what's coming to Final Fantasy XIV in the future including plans for the compatibility of the game with the next-gen PlayStation 5.
Yoshida Naoki explained that you will be able to play the current PlayStation 4 version of the game directly on your PlayStation 5.
Players will also be able to choose to play with the PS4 Pro settings to enhance their game experience.
The team also explained that the new performances of the next-gen PS5 will ensure quicker loading time when loading maps and duties.
For the moment, no PS5 version has been announced for FFXIV.
