Ubisoft has ambitious post-launch plans for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, including two expansions, seasonal content, and a new quest.
Players can purchase the season pass to get both upcoming chunks of content. The first expansion, dropping in the Spring of 2021, is called Wrath of the Druids. It involves a "journey to Ireland (to) unravel the mysteries of an ancient and mysterious druidic cult," Ubisoft said.
The second expansion, The Siege of Paris, releases in the Summer of 2021. It lets players "relive the most ambitious battle in Viking History with key historical figures of war-torn Frankia," Ubisoft said. "... players will infiltrate the fortified city of Paris and the River Seine under a prolonged siege, uncover enemy secrets, and form strategic alliances to safeguard their clan’s future."
The game will also have two free seasons of content after launch. Season 1 launches in December of this year with new settlement areas, game modes, festivals, skills, and abilities. Season 2 launches in March of next year with more new content. Expect additional info closer to release.
