The latest community challenge in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the Egghead Community Challenge, has been removed by Ubisoft due to a technical issue preventing players from completing the reward.

The objective of the time-limited challenge required users to perform headshots, in order to unlock the Enherjar bow. However, several problems resulted in either the data not being recorded correctly, or, even if the objective was achieved, the reward not being given.

As a result, Ubisoft has issued a statement temporarily removing the challenge.

Ubisoft appear to have been having technical problems with the game lately, stemming from the last major update released at the end of July. Some related to the Sigrblot Festival, so it's likely we'll see the odd new patch in the next few hours.

The next expansion for Valhalla, The Siege of Paris, will be released this month. In addition, Ubisoft confirmed that the Viking adventure will get a second season, and that Assassin's Creed Infinity will arrive next year, a platform that aims to change the saga forever.
