We are used to leaks from the side of the Assassin's Creed series, but this time we thought that Ubisoft would hold on, keeping the next installment in the series secret until the fateful live reveal which should arrive shortly. But no, in the end several elements of the game made their way to the web, including a first visual and a quest name that leave little room for doubt about the context.
The leaks are confirmed
There was already little doubt, but the release of this image confirms a large part of what the leaks of recent days have taught us about the next episode of the license , starting with the historical context of the game. With its name quest around the 40 thieves, this first glimpse of Mirage makes it clear to us that we will hang out on the side of the Middle East, exactly as in the first episode. An excellent way for Ubisoft to close the loop, by offering a return to basics demanded by players for a long time. Not that the A-RPG episodes are mediocre, but returning to a system that puts much more emphasis on infiltration should make it easier for many fans to find their way around.
Soon the birthday live
We shouldn't have to wait very long before all this is announced, since the franchise will be celebrated during a live anniversary which should reveal something concrete about the Mirage episode. We're still going to cross our fingers so that the leaks haven't revealed everything and that the publisher Ubisoft has some nice surprises in store for us during the event, whether it's new announcements or a first look at Assassin's Creed Infinity, the platform meant to "bring them all together". See you in a few days to know the end of the story.
