Genshin Impact 1.2 has been available for almost two weeks now and a few lucky ones are currently testing the 1.3 beta. As with every beta, some information has leaked.
Two five-star characters will join the game in Update 1.3, both wielding polearms. Xiao is a DPS-oriented Anemo whose banner begins the update. According to leaks, the Pyro-aligned Hu Tao will follow.
From what we know about this character, he has the lowest attack base in the game but would work with a system of attack buff based on the HP loss. The fewer HPs she has, the more she will hit.
You will need Silk Flowers and Nectar for her ascension, so farm them early if you're interested in Hu Tao.
Note that the Lantern Rite Festival Event should also be released with the 1.3 version.
