Assassin's Creed: Valhalla latest patch is causing crashes

Last week, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla 1.2.0 patch was released and it brought some long-expected features like "Transmog" and the Ostara Festival event. However, the update also came with unexpected issues: system crashes.

On the official forums, different users have posted about the troublesome experiences they were having. Apparently, the festival's items and sidequests are causing the crashes. That's why Ubisoft has released a hotfix that temporaly removes this new content.

Following a post from the official Twitter account, the team announced that they are already working in a "permanent" solution. The fix doesn't have a release date yet.
