Before the new version of Genshin Impact (1.7) is officially revealed, Travelers will be able to test their skills against waves of deadly creatures. The “Never-Ending Battle” event starts on July 9 and we will tell you everything you need to know about it.
To begin with, you should have at least Adventure Rank 21. Then, visit the Golden Apple Archipelago and find the challenge waiting on one of the islands. The event will unlock a new challenge for seven days, and each challenge will be available at different locations. Each one of them will have a unique condition, such as “Character’s Superconduct reaction DMG increased by 100%” (which seems to be the condition for the first challenge).
Every challenge will have the same objective: earn points by defeating enemies. However, there are some twists that make the challenge more interesting. For instance, there’s a “Momentum” gauge in the top middle of the screen while fighting. This bar will be filled by defeating Berserker opponents (those in bright yellow/orange) or destroying “Momentum Discs” (see the picture below).
Momentum is important because it will give you a buff called “Momentum Blessing”, which will make your character stronger. The gauge is divided into three levels, and each one of them will give you a better buff. Nonetheless, keep in mind that Momentum goes down over time, so you need to constantly beat enemies or eliminate the Momentum Discs.
Regarding rewards, they will be divided into three categories. You will earn one or the other depending on the high score you obtained. It’s worth mentioning that your high score is defined by the number of points you made before the time ran out or before every member of the party was defeated. Below are the possible rewards.
The Never-Ending Battle event will be live on July 9 and it will end on July 19.
