Update 2.0 for Genshin Impact and with it comes new characters, weapons and more. Here's what we can expect.
Event Wish: Tapestry of Golden Flames
This banner sees Yoimiya accompanied by three characters of 4-star rarity, including Sayu, the first two-handed Anemo swordswoman in the game. Furthermore, Xinyan and Diona will also be available.
On the weapons front, the banner will be based around two types of weapons: the greatsword and the bow. On paper, the banner is an interesting prospect considering the heroes available.
Additionally, Xinyan and Yoimiya can be played together to benefit from Pyro resonance, as well as the resistance reduction that Xinyan offers. Yomiya can also pitch in with a shield.
In addition, Diona gives you access to elemental reactions, while healing and giving you a shield. Sayu will do damage, but also adds another heal.

Event Wish: Epitome Invocation
There are two 5-star rarity weapons on offer with this iteration of the Epitome Invocation, the Thundering Pulse bow and the Skyward Blade sword.

Here's what we know of the Thundering Pulse bow:
Basic ATK: 46
ATK at Lv. 90: 608
Secondary Stat: CRIT DMG
Effect: Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack level 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%
The Character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios:
-- Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s)
-- casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s)
-- Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full).
Each stack's duration is calculated independently.
Genshin Impact 2.0: Events
Lost Riches
The event that sees you team up with a mini Seelie to look for treasure returns.
- Event duration: 6-16 August
- Prerequisites: Adventure Rank 30; completed Archon Quest "Ritou Escape Plan"
Test Run: Character Trial Event
This event allows you to test the banner characters, with the first completion of each offering rewards. You can repeat these as many times as you like, but rewards will only be given once.
- Available August 10-31
Theater Mechanicus 2.0
The tower defense minigame returns, with plenty of rewards on offer.
- Available August 12-26

- Prerequisites: Adventure Rank 30; completed Archon Quest "Ritou Escape Plan"
Phanton Overflow
A brand new event, this one has you complete challenges for Primogems and other rewards. It marks the beginning of the tournament hosted by Shousen, the master of Inazuma's Shinryuu.
- Available August 20-30
- Prerequisites: Adventure Rank 30; completed the Archon Quest "Ritou Escape Plan" and World Quest "Chisato's Letter".
Ley Line Overflow
This event returns to offer double rewards for completing Ley Line Challenges and consuming Original Resin. You can claim this three times per day.
